As another step toward moving my blog off WordPress, I’ve built a tool to download it as Markdown files.
The tool is pretty rough and ready at this point, but it is ready — it can download a blog to a bunch of MD files.

I have some refining to do, and I want to do more things, like downloading images and saving them alongside posts.

Markdown is amazing! Great tool. Next step is to move this website to a static one generated from the Markdown files.
